By Matt • Jan 9th, 2010 • Category: Featured ModelTheSBON: What types of snacks do you enjoy?
Xanny: Sometimes a snack could be my proper meal. I love all nuts and fruits. Thailand is very tropical.
TheSBON: What is your favorite fruit?
Xanny: Green mango because its very high in vitamin C and I like the sour taste.
TheSBON: Green Mango, nice. It’s nice to live in a tropical area – you have the advantage of eating such fruits.
Xanny: Yes, I eat fruit everyday and a good variety of them.
TheSBON: I’m looking at your pictures and admire your skin. Do you do anything special to get skin like that or were you born blessed?
Xanny: I put body lotion on my skin everyday since I was 11 years old. I use body scrub and I love to do spa at home.
TheSBON: What do you mean “spa at home”?
Xanny: Body scrub and body mask from herbs. I do it myself at home. You don’t need to go to a beauty spa shop even thought there are many spa businesses in Thailand.
TheSBON: Nice, can you go into more detail about that? What type of herbs do you use & where do you put them?
Xanny: I use Thai fruit called “Tamarind” and Cumin and Lemon. Then some other herbs, there are so many to use for your skin.
Xanny: The lemons would make your skin look brighter, green or yellow. You can use both.
TheSBON: Ok, so tell us more about all of this….you crush the cumin & tamarind… and then squeeze lemon into it? Then spread that over your skin?
Xanny: Do the body scrub once or twice a month and use body lotion everyday
Xanny: In Thailand we have cumin powder. We don’t need to crush it since it would be too yellow. Mix the cumin powder with all the stuff you got and scrub on your skin and wash off with water.
TheSBON: How about your face? You have the softest face & that really comes out in your photos.
Xanny: Thank you. For your face, you can mix herbs with milk and yogurt, even honey. Coffee is good to scrub your face with once a month, too. It can detox your skin. These are all great things for your skin.
TheSBON: Very nice. So it sounds like there isn’t much you wouldn’t put on your skin.

TheSBON: What type of makeup do you use for your photoshoots? Do you do your own makeup?
Xanny: I do my own makeup all the time. For my skin tone I like to do dark eye, smoky eye makeup
TheSBON: Do you use a particular brand? Or do you use minerals?
Xanny: I don’t use foundation on my face, just normal powder because I love to show my natural skin. I honestly use so many different brands together. I like MAC and Cosmeda.
TheSBON: I see that you’re coming to the US soon, right? Do you have modeling projects lined up here already?
Xanny: I’m planing to come to the US in March, 2010.
TheSBON: That will be exciting.
Xanny: Yes, I have many bookings already. I can add more, I just have to put them on my time table

TheSBON: Do you plan to stay in Bangkok long term or do you have other dreams?
Xanny: I want to travel as much as I can first, but Thailand will be my permanent place. Even so, I still want to try other countries for a short time each. Sounds dreamy, right?
TheSBON: Looks like you’ve done well at making your dreams come true. How do you juggle so many freelance projects at a time? Do you have an agent or do you book yourself?
Xanny: I’m just posting on ModelMayhem and Facebook and people come to talk to me on the sites. Then I book myself from there.
TheSBON: That takes a lot of ambition. I’m looking at your pictures and see you in a Thai Costume. What is the story behind this?
Xanny: The story is that I got a gift voucher from that studio to take free photos. I just went to that studio only to take photos for fun. I wasn’t a model yet. I would’ve never guessed that I would turn to be a model!
TheSBON: So that was one of your first shoots! You look great there. Does the outfit have any meaning to it?
Xanny: Yes, the outfit is from my culture is a traditional Thai National Dress. It holds much meaning in here and you can Google it to learn more.
TheSBON: Great, Xanny. Well thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us. We wish you success in your trip to the US this Spring!
