Best Blender of 2010

Being in health & fitness and having peers who are body builders and professional athletes, I’m no stranger to VitaMix. In 2009, many of these friends were raving about their VitaMix and how it would change my idea of blending altogether. So I decided to see what all the fuss was about and opted for the CIA Professional Series. Read my review of the blender here.

You might’ve heard of VitaMix when going through Costco, a distributor of the high end blender. Here, you may even have witnessed a demonstration of a man plopping an entire apple – core & all – into his machine to see it whipped and splayed into a million pieces.

Of course everyone knows about the Iphone and you either want one or have one, but did you know about what is already being used in Asia and what we can expect for 2010? There are some contenders with smaller marketing budgets that might just make you go behind the back of your trusty Mac.

The next generartion of cell phones should see 32 gigs of storage space as a minimum, HD quality playback and recording of videos, an 8.0 MP camera that will make you want to leave your other camera at home, an extremely responsive touchscreen with the pinch feature from iPhone, a music database that you can subscribe to with your contract, an fm tuner, GPS integration as a basic feature, and lastly an open-source application database that is community driven and open source.

Fall at Disneyland

Having grown up on the east coast, going to Cedar Point, King’s Island, or Six Flags was the cool thing to do. Then, maybe once in your lifetime you’d venture to Disney World and have the time of your life. Disney World is just that – the world of Walt Disney. What he created out of a small farm town in the city of what is now known as the metropolis of Daytona is incredible. When going there, you feel like you’re literally in another world.

I have worked for Disney in the past with their cruise lines and lived on exotic islands they own and am really impressed with what Disney offers to the public. It is one of the only companies that exists where I believe they truly want people to live out a fantasy and see princes & princesses come to life. At Disneyland however, I never have had this impression.
